Description: We’ve learned a lot about what it takes to hire and retain young talent, but what if we took this a step further to get to know this generation as a whole? For this month’s City Club Presentation in partnership with the Bend Young Professionals, a program of the Bend Chamber: Millennials: They’re Shaping Our Future, What Shaped Them?, we’ll look at what major life events shaped Millennials, the decisions they make, and get to know the generation stepping into major leadership roles in the next few years (if they haven’t already).

Hear from a panel of Millennials in Central Oregon on the milestones that shaped their worldviews, the challenges they face that aren’t always obvious, and how to support them both personally and professionally. If we want to continue to build a successful, thriving community, we need to work with and encourage the generation making major decisions. This will be an interactive panel with time for table talk and questions.
