July’s forum explored an important topic for our community…what do we do when our landfill is filled in 2029? We learned about what options are being discussed and education on recycling.
If you missed the forum, we’ll be posting the recording soon.
Ways you can engage?
- Continue the conversation. Encourage your network to learn about the options for a future landfill.
- Educate your family, friends, and co-workers on what’s recyclable and what’s not. Post signage in your home and office.
- Sign up for the food waste challenge, the largest contributor to our landfill.
- Find a recycler/reuser. Instead of sending it to the landfill, check if there is a recycler in our area.
