Sean Reinhart, MSExecutive Director of Special Programs, Bend-La Pine Schools
Sean has worked in the fields of behavioral health and special education for over 20 years. Sean earned a B.S. in Psychology from The Evergreen State College in Olympia, WA. He spent his early career working as an educational assistant in a social and emotional program in middle school and in residential treatment programs. Sean earned his M.S. in School Psychology from Lewis and Clark College in 2003. He spent 10 years practicing school psychology in Bend – La Pine Schools before moving into special programs administration. Sean’s current role is Executive Director for Special programs in Bend – La Pine Schools. Sean supports programming related to educating students with disabilities, health services, school psychology, speech and language pathology, district-wide behavioral, social and emotional programming, and facilitates community outreach with Central Oregon behavioral health partners. His current projects include district-wide implementation of Trauma Informed Practices through the Culture of Care project. Sean serves on several boards including the State Advisory Council for Special Education, Executive Board for the Confederated Organization of School Administrators, Central Oregon Suicide Prevention Alliance, and Bend Endurance Academy. Sean is a husband of 20 years and a proud father to a Summit High School freshman.
