City Club of Central Oregon Announces Proposed Slate of 2018 Board of Directors

Bend, OR (September 17, 2017) After due diligence and deliberation, City Club of Central Oregon has announced the following slate of new candidates for the 2018 board of directors:

  • Derek Bickel – loanDepot, branch manager
  • Jessica Biel – Pinnacle Architecture, business development director
  • Stephanie Senner – TDS Telecommunications Corp., commercial marketing manager

According to the bylaws, this proposed slate will be presented for inclusion in the notice of the annual meeting, which will be held this year on October 19 at the monthly forum. Each City Club member shall have one vote for each position.

Returning board members are:

  • Pamela Hulse-Andrews – Cascade Publications Inc., CEO
  • Dave DeRose – US Bank, commercial banking and business banking manager
  • Lisa Dobey – St. Charles Health System, Executive Director of St. Charles Foundation
  • Peter Grube – Dream Home Building and Design, partner
  • Marla Hacker – Oregon State University-Cascades, associate dean of academic programs (retired)
  • Barb Hess – Brooks Resources Corp., director of human resources
  •  Jim Lussier – the Lussier Center, founder and principle consultant
  • Jeff Monson – Commute Options, executive director
  • Andrea Phelps – RDP Group at Windermere Central Oregon Real Estate, founding member
  • Liisa Sjoblom – Deschutes Public Library, community librarian
  • Scott Steele – Steele Associates Architects, president
  • Gwenn Wysling – Bethlehem Inn, executive director

Also, added to the 2018 board as an ex-officio member (2017 Leadership Bend graduate):

  • John Cozier- First American Title, title officer/customer service manager

2018 new officers:
